The IRE Irish Immigration Bill petition now has over 600 signatures, and is on track to reach 1000 signatures. Please forward our email to people you know, asking them to support this bill. We need to get this petition out to as many people as possible including friends, family, organizations, media etc. Everything takes time, but there is urgency behind this bill as it is a temporary measure that will afford Irish nationals both skilled and unskilled, with the much needed opportunity to live and work legally in the United States, and then after a few years return home to a brighter future.

I have 1 job waiting for me in California, 0 in Ireland.
Ireland is currently suffering badly, and educated Irish workers have a lot to offer industry and the economy in the USA with their renowned work ethic.
A few thousand people allowed to work in USA temporarily would assist the Irish economy greatly
My Irish ancestors built this great Country of ours. It is time we show our gratitude by permitting these fine Irish people to come to America and once again demonstrate their God given abilities.
Because not only is it the right thing to do but it would give more people an opportunity to obtain the possibilities that go with the American Dream

Caro will be attending the Working Abroad Jobs Expo in Dublin October 6th & 7th. She will be hosting some conferences while at the expo, explaining the different types of visa options to live and work in the States. The Dublin Expo is taking place on Saturday October 6th & Sunday October 7th 2012 in the Royal Dublin Society (RDS). Opening times for visitors are from 10am to 5pm. Drop by and sign our petition!

Job Networking
The Limerick Society of New York is having its ‘Fall Social Afternoon’ Sunday, October 28 (see below). Social events like this are a great way for our new arrivals from Ireland to network for jobs. For information on other events in the Irish community where you can network for jobs, please visit https://www.failte32.org/
Although the main purpose of Failte 32 is to help our new arrivals from Ireland find employment by connecting them to Irish American networks/organizations here in the U.S., we do from time to time receive job referrals, which going forward will be posted on the News/Events section of Failte32.org.
